Benelux’ largest hopitality canopy
The largest hospitality canopy in the Benelux is in Almere-Haven. This immense project was realised entirely with CORNELS products. A unique collaborative project resulting in 400m2 of year-round terrace and increased turnover for hospitality entrepreneurs.
Coming to fruition of the biggest project to date
The restaurateurs of the four hospitality establishments on the Havenkom joined forces. Together, they asked their landlord for an exclusive terrace canopy with glass walls, anticipating many advantages in providing a year-round terrace to their guests. The entrepreneurs contacted our dealer and that is how CORNELS came into their orbit.
Together, they visited our beautiful showroom. The various wishes and requirements of the people involved were discussed with our dealer’s project consultant. CORNELS offered construction advice and, in consultation with the dealer, provided the design and produced the drawings. After approval, we took the entire project into production.
Customised products
They opted for the NAVI CORNELS® Base series for the hospitality canopy in this project. Our dealers tend to apply this bespoke product in hospitality projects where the canopy needs to be attached to the façade. Its sloping design with integrated rainwater drainage, the retractable roof with quality fabric and the dimmable LED lighting in the ribs make it a popular model.
Hospitality canopy with translucent and waterproof fabric
CORNELS works with the best materials. The translucent, waterproof fabric is an important factor for users of this canopy. CORNELS applies the high-quality Serge Ferrari fabric from the Soltis 96 Proof series. The anthracite colour matches the look and feel of every hospitality establishment on this street. Of course, we can provide any colour scheme.
Additional shelter
The hospitality canopy features our glass folding walls TALITHA CORNELS® Glass and aluminium frame doors KUMA CORNELS® Glass. Side walls of fixed glass serve as partitions between the hospitality terraces. This composition provides the guests of these hospitality establishments with more atmosphere, shade and shelter.
